Club Newsletter - Hall Field Disposition

From approximately January 2026, our landlord “Rancho California Water District” will taking bids for the project.  

In approximately November 2026 construction will begin and will run through and until 2029-2030.

Dates for our shut down are still being discussed but will logically be some time between 10/2026-11/2026 est.

On 8.14.2025, TVF made a presentation to the Rancho Water District board members in a bid to remain on the property thus saving Hall Field as we know it.  

On 11.20.2025, A conference was held with RW Rep.  Rep. provided that RW was looking for storage space for our club infrastructure and materials.  Also it was offered that Sundance Meadows off Sage road, Aguanga, CA may be available as a suitable alternative flying field either permanent or temporary.  

On Jan 15, RW Rep. responded in regards to updates and indicated that he is finalizing permits and funding to Sundance Meadows property and its usage.  

Mar.23.2026, RW Rep. indicated that work is beginning on clean up of Sundance Meadows property which may take up to 6-8 months to complete.

The possible use of this property will be a lease option when it becomes made suitable by RW i.e. fenced in, gated and demolition of decrepit buildings and debris scattered around the property.  It is deemed unsafe for use until this is accomplished.
